Elder Tadej:
“I don’t have any cravings or wishes to accomplish something, my time has passed.
Younger generations should think what they are to do in their lives.
Old age is coming and you can’t do the things you did when you were young. One should make effort in his youth to accomplish all one can… Later, he will understand that his time wasn’t wasted…
…
One holy father said: ‘don’t give your inner peace for anything of this world’.
…
One old man was asked: ‘how do you live now?’ He answered: ‘I am reliving the past now. I relive things that I have experienced before in my life…’
…
One has to humble himself. If he humbles himself his salvation comes at once, both physical and psychical. If he is humble, his nervous system is relaxed and everything is easy to him. No tribulation can affect him…
…
On the other hand, if he has a lot of demands he just tortures himself.
…
How can somebody humble himself? He must subject himself to God’s will regarding the place where he lives or the way of life that’s given to him. He has to be satisfied, thankful to God for everything.
…
Everything that’s going on with us is God’s providence and we have to subject to it. As soon as we humble ourselves, salvation comes at once.
…
Everything is possible with God’s help. Everything!”
