Heart touching video of Metropolitan John of Timisoara who asks for prayer for healing for three little girls, one of them suffering from leukemia.
“You see, we venerated at the right time the icon of our Savior and of Mother of God…
and I looked with tears in my eyes at this little girl suffering from leukemia, she must undergo a transplant soon, may God grant her success…
She couldn’t kiss the Mother of God because she has this face mask… but I believe that Mother of God is the one that kissed her on her forehead…
‘O, Mother of God, we too often can not kiss you because our lips are full of sins, but have mercy on us and kiss us on our forehead…’
I also spoke to the doctor responsible for that department and I asked him if he allows me to go and see them and to make the sign of the Cross for their healing…
And I was trying to think what to bring them as a gift… because they can not speak but they feel, they already react to certain stimuli…
And I said to myself, ‘What shall I get them? I cannot bring them food, I cannot bring them clothes…’
And I said, ‘Well, what shall I get them?’ So, I would like to bring them… your prayer…
Let’s pray for them, so that God and Mother of God may look at them, them and their weeping mothers…
‘Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the Kingdom and the Power and the Glory of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.’
Through the prayers of our holy Fathers, Lord Jesus Christ,
Son of God, have mercy on those hardly tested girls in this hour.”
