In the Orthodox Church, Holy Week is a very special liturgical time, a time of deep liturgical expression. Christ is the Bridegroom of the Church, bearing the marks of His suffering, yet preparing a marriage Feast for us in the day of His Resurrection.

Here is a live recording of the Bridegroom Matins services as chanted last year in the Holy Archangels Michael, Gabriel and Raphael Cathedral in Paris.
