On the day that you suffer on behalf of a man in any way, be it on behalf of the good or on behalf of the wicked, in body or in mind, deem yourself on that day to be a martyr and as one that has been deemed worthy of confessorship for the sake of Christ. Remember that Christ died for the wicked, according to the words of the scripture, not for the good. Behold how great a thing it is to suffer for the evil and to do good to the sinners, even greater than to do this for the righteous.
