We start the TPH series with the simple, but Spirit-bearing words of Fr. Proclu, the contemporary hermit:
“God so greatly loves the humble man… All the saints had humility… And the one who says he’s a saint is being deceived by the devil.”
Also, this man of God shows us a little trick on how to play with the temptation.
Tell this to the evil thought: “I’m going to revenge on him/her, but not today, I will do it tomorrow!” But, by tomorrow, I will say a prayer and Holy Spirit will cast out those spirits, and I won’t say anything to him/her…
