We must be aware of this: when Christ seeks us through Holy Communion and gives us such great joy, but in order to never lose this joy, we must behave and live as He said.
This means that any encounter with another person: in the family, at work, Monday at work or at school, at shopping centres… It has to be such an encounter so that after my departure, the other person will have an extra dose of joy and spiritual peace. And I can only say that, in fact, anyone who tries to live like this will always have great joy and other people will want like bees to get closer to this flower…
In this we see the great mystery of the saints! Why did masses of people went to these saints, even from our times? Because the pilgrims found in these people that crumb of joy, happiness, holiness…
And we see that, first of all, the Christian’s life is his or her daily life… And what we have received from Christ must be shared with others…
How beautiful is, for example, in a family, when, before lunch, the father, the mother and the children participate to the Divine Liturgy… And they prepare themselves to be filled with joy… For example, after the Liturgy, the child or the husband asks the mother, “Is there anything I can help you with?” without criticizing her that maybe the food was not so delicious this Sunday… Through the sin of judging others we destroy ourselves and our family… With kindness and love, we build…
